Our fully automatic machines can bend a wide range of chain types. Our chains are used as tyre protection chains in mining operations, as sling chains, anchor chains, lock chains or as hoisting chains. Bending machines from schmale Maschinenbau GmbH can process different steel grades and diameters up to 26 mm. Our chain bending machines can process both carbon steel and stainless steel. The chain links can be bent by cold forming, or heated by an integrated induction system and bent in a hot forming process. We can bend more than just chains made of round steel. Chain links made from steel bars can also be processed on our chain bending machines.
After the bending process, we can integrate an automatic chain link welding system into the process, so that a finished chain comes out of the system. This can then be heat-treated to achieve the desired properties.

The Service department at schmale Maschinenbau GmbH is responsible for technical customer support. Our competent service team is usually available within 24 hours. Error analysis and troubleshooting is often carried out by remote maintenance via our service programmers.
If spare parts and mechanics are required on site, our customers can be sure that they will receive original spare parts and experienced schmale mechanics at short notice.
