Often, small adjustments are all that is needed to increase the cycle rate. This optimisation allows us to fine-tune the interaction of the individual stations, and to optimise tool contours or materials. This is followed by tool-specific operator training to ensure ease of use.
Modernisations
If your Schmale machine no longer meets the current requirements in terms of its mechanical or electrical/control technology, it’s time for a partial or general overhaul.
In the case of a partial overhaul, for example, the safety concept is completely revised as part of a control system retrofit.
In the case of a general overhaul, all mechanical wear parts are also replaced.
schmale systems are designed to be mechanically reliable for many years of continuous operation. They often achieve an operating life of 30 - 40 years. This is sustainable, but control technology develops rapidly over such time periods. Upgrading the control system to modern NC technology therefore offers significant advantages for older schmale systems.
